New era for popular car auction house

A leading car auction house in the South of England, is pleased to announce that Darren Loveys has completed a management buyout and is now the sole proprietor of the business. Darren, who has been with South Western Vehicle Auctions for an impressive 38 years, started his journey as a 15-year-old on the Youth Training Programme (YTS).
Under Darren's leadership, South Western Vehicle Auctions has experienced significant growth and success. To further propel the business forward, exciting plans are underway, including a move to new premises in Holton Heath, Dorset in the new year. This strategic relocation will provide enhanced facilities and opportunities for both buyers and sellers.
Established in 1971, South Western Vehicle Auctions is a family-run, independent car auction house that has become a trusted name in the industry. Situated in Poole, SWVA holds two car auctions per week, along with commercial auctions twice a month and a classic auction four times a year.
Speaking of his buyout Darren said, “I have a great legacy to build on, and feel that now is the time for us to move into the new generation of SWVA. Our upcoming move to new premises and rebrand shows our commitment to providing an even better experience for our customers and further expanding our reach in the industry."
As part of the business refresh, a new website will go live early 2024 making it easier to find and bid for vehicles, with detailed catalogues of fleet vehicles, part exchange vehicles, surplus retail vehicles and classics.
