Trainee qualifies as employment law solicitor
Dayna Rodrigues has qualified as an employment law solicitor with regional law firm Ellis Jones.
Dayna Rodrigues has qualified as an employment law solicitor with regional law firm Ellis Jones.
She has qualified into the employment law team where her focus will be primarily assisting employees and/or ex-employees with employment law and HR-related problems.
Dayna is the latest solicitor to complete her training contract at award-winning Ellis Jones, which has offices in Bournemouth, Poole, Wimborne, Swanage, Ringwood and London.

“Dayna is the second trainee to qualify as a solicitor with us in the past few weeks, Clémentine Saulnier having qualified into the Business Services team, and shows how effective our training contracts are in producing talented legal professionals in-house.”

As part of the two-year training contract, Dayna rotated through a number of different departments, assisting in Employment Law, Business Services, Dispute Resolution and Banking and Finance Litigation.
Dayna said: “I’m incredibly proud to qualify as a solicitor with Ellis Jones Solicitors and look forward to forging long-term, trusting relationships with clients and finding creative solutions to complex problems. It is important to me that my advice is not only thorough but as clear and straight forward as possible.”
She previously worked as a paralegal in regulatory law with a focus on healthcare. Prior to successful completion of her legal studies with the University of Law, Dayna was awarded a BA Hons in Political Science with Philosophy from the University of Birmingham.
To date, 13 out of 22 Partners at Ellis Jones, which has 170 staff, started their careers as trainees at the firm, including the Managing Partner.
