Salisbury City Council is giving you the opportunity to explore Salisbury Guildhall for free as part of Heritage Open Days from Wednesday 16 September until Saturday 19 September.

The Heritage Open Days are an annual celebration of England’s architecture and culture that allows visitors free access to historical landmarks that are either not usually open to the public, or would normally charge an entrance fee to visitors. It also includes tours, events and activities related to architecture and culture.

This year, visitors will be given a tour of Salisbury Guildhall; a remarkable grade II listed building in the centre of Salisbury. Dating back to 1975, it is one of the region’s most beautiful historic buildings with walls that are adorned in some of the city’s finest artefacts.

The free guided tours will be given by Blue Badge Guides at 10am and 2pm each day. Due to Covid-19 unfortunately we are unable to include the cells and tunnels on this year’s tours and tickets will be limited. Social distancing regulations will be in place, with visitors asked to sign in for track and trace and masks must be worn at all times.

Tickets for the tours are very limited and need to be booked in advance via the following link:
