A new Lakeland kitchenware store has opened at the Stewarts Garden Centres in Christchurch.  Martin Stewart, Managing Director of the family owned garden centre group, welcomed Julian Rayner, one of the brothers that launched the Lakeland business the sixties.

“We are delighted to be located within the Stewarts Garden Centre as both businesses have a lot of factors in common.   Our customer base is very home orientated and look for great service and a quality range of products. We also both sell pots, cooking pots and flower pots!” said Julian Rayner.

Martin Stewart congratulated Julian and Lakeland on being rated first for retail customer service experience by Which? magazine and the new interior design that is the first to be used at a garden centre based outlet.

Lakeland replaces the Pets Corner store at the centre’s courtyard.  Stewarts have now introduced a range of Pet toys and treats within the centre.
