To celebrate the launch of a new pet food and sundries range at the Christchurch and Wimborne Stewarts Garden Centres, a donation of a special dog hamper has been made to Waggy Tails Rescue, the charity that rehomes hundreds of dogs, cats and other domestic pets across the region.

Duncan Wills, Garden Sundries Buyer Manager at Stewarts presented WTR Chairman Ginny Roberts and volunteer Roz Guest the hamper that included Zoon dog food, snacks, treats, toys and bedding that are to be available in the centres.

“We are the first garden centre in the UK to stock this exclusive Zöon brand of treats and hope that dog owners visiting the centres will let their dogs enjoy some of the free samples available,” said Duncan Wills. “Tasting and testing will be judged by the amount of tail waggling.”

The company has also promised to provide a supply of food and treats to the charity’s busy Sanctuary near Canford Magna.

Ginny Roberts thanked Duncan and the centres for the hamper.  “This gift will be split between feeding the dogs currently in our care or with volunteers who foster until forever homes can be found, and used as raffle prizes to help fundraise.”
