A new membership community for entrepreneurs, founders and business leaders was launched to over 100 guests on a mild spring day at the beautiful Chewton Glen Hotel & Spa. Through inspirational content and insights, a national events programme and a transformative coaching & development programme delivered through approved partners, Evolve offers a holistic ecosystem that enables members to develop as individuals and grow their businesses in innovative and inspiring ways.

Evolve was conceived by Warren Munson, founder of award-winning accountancy firm Inspire and author of ‘Evolve to Succeed’, and Barry Kick, a creative business leader whose achievements include establishing an award-winning consumer electronics company and forging strategic partnerships with Virgin Media and John Lewis.

Warren said, “My journey building Inspire and now combining the continued success of Inspire with the launch of Evolve has given me a unique empathy for entrepreneurs and owner-managed business leaders. Through experiencing the ups and downs that come with building a business, Barry and I understand what it means to be a business leader and be entrepreneurial and support the entrepreneurial community in every aspect of its journey, including the struggles, risks and successes. Together with the experiences of Barry and others, this is the foundation from which Evolve was created.”

After lunch, guests were entertained and enthralled by guest speaker and co-founder of Bremont watches, Nick English. Together with brother Giles, Nick walked away from the corporate world in 2002 to pursue the dream of making and selling finely crafted mechanical watches. Seven years prior their father Euan—a pilot, clock enthusiast and all round tinkerer—was killed in the light aircraft he was flying with Nick. Nick survived—albeit with more than 30 broken bones—and it was this accident that was the catalyst for the brothers’ decision to embark on an adventure that now sees them positioned as one of the top watch brands in the world.

In his talk, Nick drew a comparison between the thrill-seeking traits that spur the brothers to flying and aerobatics, and those that make them entrepreneurs.
“The propensity for risk and adrenaline has never really left us and it influences a lot of what we do and it’s certainly defines our brand,” he said. “I don’t know what it is. Once you’ve had that taste it’s quite hard to get rid of it.”

Evolve offers membership both for Entrepreneurs and for experienced business coaches and advisors through the Evolve Approved Partner system. Entrepreneurs benefit from privileged access to great content, a unique forum, discounted events and the opportunity to engage with the Evolve coaching and development programme. Partners get an exciting opportunity to raise their business profile, develop incremental value and set themselves apart as leaders in their industry.

Evolve will also host regular Discovery Days, a platform to connect likeminded entrepreneurs and business leaders in partnership with local Approved Partners. Unique workbooks, an inspiring entrepreneurial story and a guest speaker in personal success all guarantee to enhance your personal and business growth, while connecting with other successful business owners.

The last bit of exciting news is that Evolve will be hosting the first Entrepreneur Festival, including an entrepreneur’s conference, on the South Coast on October 10th 2019. Save the date!

The Entrepreneur’s Lunch was held in partnership with Inspire Professional Services, Hybrid Legal and M12&Giganet.
