Dorset and Somerset law firm, Humphries Kirk, raised £173,800 for a variety of charities during October 2017 for Free Wills Month. The law firm is due to take part in the campaign again this year which takes place during the month of October.


‘Free Wills Month’ offers members of the public aged 55 and over the opportunity to have a basic Will written or updated free of charge. Solicitors in selected locations are involved in the campaign and Humphries Kirk is proud to be among them.


Humphries Kirk raised £173,800 of future income for the Free Wills Month charities, which include Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity, Age UK, NSPCC, Mind, British Heart Foundation, Arthritis Research UK, Breast Cancer Now, Guide Dogs, RNLI, SSAFA and Stroke Association. The overall campaign raised a record £20,288,250.


To make the most of the offer this month, members of the public aged 55 and over can contact Humphries Kirk during October to request an appointment. Humphries Kirk’s qualified staff will help members of the public draw up a Will that accurately reflects their wishes. Those interested in taking up the offer are under no obligation to leave a gift to one of the Free Wills Month charities.
